CBS Announced Young Thug & Gunna Rico Documentary

The Young Thug and Gunna Rico case has been going on since May of 2022. The authorities detained 28 individuals alongside Young Thug on a 56-count indictment.

Young Stoner Life record label and Gunna were also listed amongst names wanted by the Atlanta District Attorney's office. There has been an enormous amount of twist and turns throughout the judicial process of this particular case. Fans from all over including law and justice programming have tuned in observing the case. The YSL Rico ase has taken on a life of its own.

CBS has snatched up the modern day Mafia trail and will releasing it on Hulu. In an hour-long documentary will be titled Rap Trap:Hip-Hop on Trial. The documentary will focus on the criminal case and the debate around rap lyrics being used as evidence in criminal prosecutions.

Hulu will air Rap Trap: Hip-Hop on Trial on February 23. Check out the trailer below.

The documentary will feature interviews with Young Thug's ex-girlfriend Jerrika Karlae, CEO of 300 Entertainment Kevin Liles, and other artist such as Killer Mike and Fat Joe.

YSL co-founder Mondo spoke up in a recent interview with Rolling Stone, sharing that Young Thug is remaining optimistic but is "disappointed" about certain things that have happened in the case. Mondo claims that he has been talking to Mama Thug and his sisters staying up to date with the cae and Young Thug's mindset. Though Thug is disappointed his spirits are up.
