A New York doctor was charged Monday with sexually abusing at least six women, including patients, many of whom were drugged and filmed.
Zhi Alan Cheng, a 33-year-old gastroenterologist at New York-Presbyterian Queens hospital, is accused of sexually abusing patients at the hospital and raping three other women in his Queens apartment. He was arrested last December and subsequently fired from his job.
One of his victims told police that while she was at Cheng's apartment, she found videos of him abusing her and other women. Investigators searched his home and discovered several videos showing him groping patients while they were sedated. One victim was described as "seriously ill." Investigators say they also found liquid anesthesia at his home, as well as cocaine and ecstasy. Cheng has pleaded not guilty to the charges. (WABC-TV)
