The Memphis rapper was allegedly masked up and carrying a concealed gun, with Xanax and weed on his person, trying to break into a tow yard. Apparently Choppa’s watch was in a vehicle locked in the tow yard, so he and at least one additional person scaled the fence to break into the lot. What they didn’t realize is that a police dispatcher was watching the whole thing unfold via a live camera feed, which meant they were pulled over while still in the parking lot.
Cops found a pair of guns -- a Glock with an extended magazine and an AK-47 Draco pistol. Both weapons were fully loaded, though Choppa and his associates claimed to know nothing about them. He’s reportedly been released from jail since the arrest on Sunday night. (Variety)
