Floridians, sea food lovers and fishermen and women are ready to hit the waters as Lobster Sport Season is officially here. With lobsters being loved by many officials are well aware and to ensure that all residents and visitors are able to get there fair share, restrictions and rules are rolling out before people get ready to hit the waters. Some of the rules include the following';
- 12 lobsters per person per day (in Miami Dade outside of Biscayne Key Park)
- In certain areas like Monroe County its 6 lobsters per person
- If lobsters have eggs you must throw them back into the water
- Make sure you have the necessary documents
- Divers flags must be displayed for safety
