Fans continue to send there love and prayers out to the family members of beloved rap legend, actor and poet Earl Simmons also most well known as DMX. This Saturday, April 24th, 2021 there will be a gathering honoring the late rapper who passed away on April 9, 2021. Word is the gathering will be held in New York at Barclays Center. Though fans will not be permitted inside due to the pandemic and the limited number of people that are able to be inside, only certain guest will be able to attend. However the gathering will be streamed live for fans to watch, come this Saturday.
Word is Yonkers Mayor, Mike Spano has mentioned the idea of possibly having a statue placed or street named after rapper DMX. Though it has been about a week since DMX's passing fans continue to pour in there memories of the rapper, and how he impacted there lives, from prayers to encouragement and simply a hug, many are thankful to have known him.
