Many Floridians are not too happy about the recent news of a new bill being signed into law by current Florida Governor Ron DeSantis today (Monday, April 19th, 2021). The bill which is referred to by some as the "anti-riot" bill which according to reports is said to hone down on violent protests in the state of Florida. However, many believe this bill will do more harm then good as it could strip American's from there First Amendment rights. One of the things the new bill would allow is for; "authorities to hold arrested protesters until a first court appearance, and it would establish new felonies for organizing or participating in a violent demonstration." In addition, the bill would also make it a 2nd degree felony to destroy some of the following;

*Plaque
*Flag
*Painting
Ultimately, allowing for someone to face up to 10 years in prison.
