Community members are relieved today as authorities announced that the man who has been accused of sexually assaulting and shooting a 12-year-old boy and also throwing him out of the car in the streets of Miami has been apprehended. The 12-year-old boy who was found by a 'good Samaritan' who saw the boy bloody staggering in the streets, led the boy to the gas station for someone to call an ambulance. According to wplg.com when the little boy heard a bang sound he told authorities he was pushed out of the car that he was initially abducted in, "He was shot in the face, temporarily blinded and used his touch to get around."
Though the man in question is in jail, police are asking if there may have been any other victims to come forward. Thankfully the young boy survived the attack and is in the hospital recovery.
