Many from various age groups continue to flock to vaccine locations in hopes of getting vaccinated. Today Floridians were relieved to hear that the eligibility age has been lowered to those who are at least 40-years-old and older. Officials expect the number of people going to get vaccinated to rise. Miami Dade College North Campus is still a vaccine site directed by FEMA. Florida is set to receive its largest set of vaccines sometime this week of approximately 700,000 doses. According to authorities Floridians at least 18 and up will be eligible to receive the vaccine on April 5th, 2021.
