According to officials millions of people were out of power due to the snow storm, but today Texas officials say more power is being restored for residents, "significant progress more than 511,000 customers are without power as of 10:30 a.m. Thursday, according to PowerOutage.US." www.accuweather.com
The record snow storm hit states including Texas. Other states where snow continues to hinder travel and cause multiple problems are Virginia, Alabama, New England, including cities like Providence, Rhode Island, and Boston. Many community organizations however are also doing what they can to help those in need during these times.
