Known as one of the the largest, boldest and oldest civil rights organization the National Associate For The Advancement of Colored People aka NAACP continues to be active and engaged on both a national and most importantly local level. A somewhat branch of the organization that many have come to know and love that recognizes many within entertainment, music, education, etc. is the Image Awards. This year the Image Awards celebrated it's 51st year, hosted by Anthony Anderson and honoring celebs like Michael B. Jordan Marsai Martin -- "black-ish" to name a few and for her philanthropy work Rihanna was awarded the President's Award. Well, next year fans will be excited to know that the show will be back on BET come February 20th at 8/7c.
