The need for more COVID-19 testing sites are continuing to rise. However, thankfully officials are working hard to full-fill this need. This week officials announced another testing site that will stay open well after 5pm. The site will be opened from 7am-9pm at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in the lower level of Terminal 3.
Those going to get tested should also be aware that there is a lane for rapid testing however that will cost $69. "The PCR test costs $99 and will require someone have an appointment and a ticket for a flight out of FLL, Miami International or Palm Beach International Airports."
According to Broward.org website: "The testing site will be open to consumers that can provide proof of travel plans to/from FLL on any airline. The Nomi Health-operated testing service at FLL will be in Terminal 3, pre-security on the lower level near baggage claim (follow directional signage). Initial operating hours will be 7AM to 9PM daily. To schedule an appointment, visit Nomi Health's FLL weblink. "
