Introducing Rashida Jones. Many within and outside of the mass media world are excited to see that one of the largest networks in media is making a major move. Social media is retweeting, posting, sharing and talking about Rashida Jones, so to be the first black female executive to run a major general news cable network.
Some of the roles Ms. Jones has played included serving as an executive producer for NBCUniversal’s news group and is currently the senior vice president for MSNBC.
Word is Ms. Jones will succeed current President Phill Griffin in February. Many are excited to see what Jones will bring to the table.
