It is hard to believe that is has been more than 7 months of the tragic murder of Breonna Taylor, a young first responder from Louisville, Kentucky. Family members and friends continue to remember the life of Breonna and push for changes in the justice system to ensure that a change for the better happens. Though the final verdict reached in Breonna's case was not something many were hoping for, even today Breonna's family and supporters were glad to see that steps to ensure some change in other places such as Virgina were made. News outlets reported today that Gov. Ralph Northam signed a statewide ban against the use of no-knock search warrants, which is a law named after Breonna Taylor.
