Mayor To Crack Down On Underground Parties Leading Up To Holidays

If you were thinking about having an underground party anytime soon, then you might want to rethink that idea. On Monday December 7th, 2020 Miami Mayor Francis Suarez made mention that they would indeed be cracking down on underground parties that have been happening throughout the city of Miami. "We don't want to be draconian, we don't want to be excessive," Suarez said. "We're trying to prevent superspreaders, that's what we're trying to prevent." From hotspot attended places such as Wynwood, Bricklle and Little Havana authorities have already begun shutting down parties, this again all in hopes of preventing more people from spreading COVID-19.
