Florida Entering Into Phase 2

Resturant owners maybe excited today as news broke out that owners will be able to open at 50% capacity as Broward and Dade enter into Phase 2. At the direction of Gov. Ron DeSantis, Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation Secretary Halsey Beshears issued an emergency order Thursday rescinding a previous order that halted the sale of alcohol at bars, an agency news release said. By moving to phase 2, both counties will be able to allow more indoor entertainment centers such as concert halls and theaters to open at 50% capacity. Broward Mayor Dale Holness said more openings would be announced in coming weeks, but said bars in the county would also remain closed. (nbc6.com)
