Tuesday, August 18th, 2020 Floridians were ready to cast in their votes, as some wanted to vote in person, others gladly dropped off their absentee ballots. Some of the most talked about wins included current Broward County Sherrif Tony Gregory who won against his predecessor Scott Israel.
Newcomer Harold Pryor Jr. won the Democratic vote for Broward State Attorney.
In Miami Dade; Miami-Dade, County commissioners Esteban “Steve” Bovo Jr. and Daniella Levine Cava will face off against each other in a November 3 runoff forMiami-Dade’s next Mayor. Neither of the top two candidates received 50 percent plus one of the votes. (miami.cbslocal.com)
