While a number of business have felt the impact of the coronavirus- many are now hearing the major effects it has had on farmers and the distribution of goods being sold. Most recently farmers in Washington found that they were left with nearly billions of pounds of potatoes, though around this time those goods would have sold fairly quickly to restaurants for making fries for example, because many restaurants and other business have had to close or cut back, some farmers are not able to sell as much. However, there is a silver-lining, though there is red tape and a cost that comes with giving away the potatoes to those in need, some farmers are finding ways around it.
