Stoneman Douglas High School Shooting Survival Stories On Display

While for some this Friday and or every Valentines Day will serve as a dreadful reminder of the tragic deadly shooting that took place nearly two years ago, Feb 14th, 2018 at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High which claimed the life of 17 students and faculty members and injuring more than a dozen people. This year according to, Florida lawmakers are getting a firsthand look at the powerful “Anguish in the Aftermath” exhibition, which tells the survival stories of students, teachers and others affected by the school shooting in Parkland that claimed 17 lives. Several portraits from the exhibition’s mix of photos and audio recordings are on display at the Florida State Capitol building through Feb. 14 – the second anniversary of the mass shooting."
