SZA and Kendrick Lamar are about to start their "Grand National" tour. SZA says she has learned a lot from Lamar. She recently spoke about his advice on The Jennifer Hudson Show. "I get tips and watch how he acts," she said. "It's magic to see him perform."
SZA shared one key tip. Lamar told her to watch herself from above while performing. This changed how she saw her own performance. "I didn't like what I saw," she said. "I wanted more energy." She then found a new spirit within herself.
The "Grand National" tour starts in April. They will perform in Minneapolis, Atlanta, Charlotte, and other cities. The North American part ends in June. Then, they go to Europe in July. Shows are set for Germany, the Netherlands, France, Portugal, and Italy.
SZA told Jimmy Kimmel that fans should expect a lot. "We’re trying new things," she said. "This is our first stadium show, so we have to go all out." SZA and Lamar also worked together at the Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show last month. The NFL reports it had 3.65 billion views around the world.
