Kanye West Borrows Future's Sound Latest "Bully" Snippets

When Kanye West reveals a new album, it often takes a long time for it to actually release. This worry came to mind when he mentioned Bully as his next solo project last year. Despite this, he has been generous with sneak peeks. From "Beauty And The Beast" to an ethereal unnamed track released earlier this month, he has not held back. As January wraps up, he plans to share even more. The earlier snippets definitely sound like Kanye, reminiscent of his albums The Life Of Pablo and My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. However, the latest clips draw from a different artist he admires. The beats resemble two of Future's recent tracks from 2024. One snippet has Kanye rapping on the "Magic Don Juan" beat from WE DON'T TRUST YOU. This trap style is unusual for him, making it surprising. His delivery feels flat and doesn't impress much. The second teaser uses the "LIL DEMON" beat, but he doesn't add much to it. Both tracks feel more like remixes rather than fitting into the dreamy vibe he might be aiming for with Bully.

Fans are also mixed on this change in sound. One comment read, "That sounds bad." There's still no clear timeline for the album's release, and it might stay that way for a while. However, excitement remains high, even if these teasers haven't wowed the audience. Jim Jones, a possible collaborator, recently praised the album during a trip to Japan. He said, "Bully this album is crazy. I wouldn’t drop if I were you, or drop now because when he does, it's going to be a big problem. We’re not taking no for an answer; we are the BULLY."
