Kanye West's "Beauty And The Beast" Sounds Reminiscent Of The Old Ye

Most Kanye West fans would agree that his last two projects were disappointing. Vultures 1 and Vultures 2 seemed hurried, unfinished, and lacked emotion at times. This can be attributed to poor mixing, weak vocal performances, and uninspiring verses from both Kanye and Ty Dolla $ign. With their talent, they could have created an incredible trilogy. Instead, these projects have come and gone, leaving us unsure if anyone really wants them to finish it.

However, Kanye has an opportunity to revitalize his career with his upcoming solo album, Bully. He announced it during a show in China and on Instagram at the end of last month. He even gave fans a taste of the album by playing a song called "Beauty And The Beast." Reports indicate that Kanye will produce the entire album, which is how he became a music icon. His earlier work was powered by energetic beats and captivating performances, resulting in some of the best hip-hop albums ever.

Whether Bully will match that level of greatness is still uncertain. However, the teaser of "Beauty And The Beast" has caught our attention. It carries the classic "chop up the soul Kanye" vibe, according to a post by NFR Podcast on X (Twitter). Kanye mentioned that this clip comes from his concert in Haikou, China. The song features more singing than rapping, giving it a dreamy and soulful feel while remaining simple. It draws inspiration from different eras of his music, including 808s, MBDTF, TLOP, and College Dropout. Fans seem to be enjoying it, and it's expected to be released soon.
