Naomi Campbell and Law Roach are facing allegations of criticizing Rihanna after engaging in the popular “demure” trend online. In an Instagram video, Roach told his followers, “We don’t attend shows like the other girls. We don’t show a lot of skin. Very demure.” Campbell chimed in, stating, “Very mindful. We don’t reveal too much … it’s not about showcasing ourselves, but highlighting the clothes.” Fans quickly interpreted these comments as an insult towards Rihanna. One user remarked, “I feel like this is aimed at Rihanna, and I really hope she doesn’t respond. This is just petty.” Another user added, “If you’re upset that she ignored you, just say so. Very cute.” This comment referred to an incident at the Alaïa fashion show during New York Fashion Week, where Rihanna greeted Edward Enniful, the former editor of British Vogue, who was seated next to Campbell and Roach, but chose not to acknowledge them. Campbell had previously dismissed any notion of a feud with Rihanna during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, saying, “Everything’s fine. I’m an actress now, Andy. I don’t have conflicts, especially with other Black women. The support is important, and we’re all working towards the same goals.” In response to the recent drama, Roach tweeted, “Can you all just stop making things up?”
