Pop Smoke's Suspected Murderer Hits the Studio with Los Angeles Rappers!

Pop Smoke's death in 2020 remains one of the most sorrowful and widely discussed incidents in hip-hop. He was shot and killed at the young age of 20 during a home invasion reportedly involving multiple suspects. Corey Walker, the sole adult charged, is waiting for his trial. A second suspect, known as Blockstar, was only 15 at the time and was released in June. Since then, he has made several controversial statements, particularly in an interview with No Jumper, where he claimed he feels no remorse and thinks he faced little consequence for his actions. Despite this, he seems to be thriving in this new stage of his life, as seen in a recent clip from Akademiks TV, where he was in the studio with various LA artists, including FRosTydaSnowMann and Peysoh. While many on social media are not surprised, they express outrage over the situation. This news comes just months after what would have been Pop Smoke's 25th birthday and follows a recent interview with his mother, Audrey Jackson. She spoke to Tap In With TT about Blockstar's disrespectful remarks regarding her son and his tragic death. She finds it painful to hear him speak about the murder so casually, but she tries not to let it affect her too deeply, noting that dwelling on it would only hurt her more. She remarked that Blockstar may be alive, but if he maintains that attitude, he has effectively lost his life.
