Ice Spice and her team are currently facing criticism after a wig maker claims they owe a significant payment. An Instagram post from The Neighborhood Talk reveals that the artist requested The Bella Brand, a well-known hair company, to produce numerous custom wigs for her ongoing Y2K! World Tour. Initially, the order was for 19 wigs, but Spice increased it to 24 shortly after. Gia, the owner of the company, noted that they had collaborated before and was willing to take on the project. However, when it was time to make the payment, Spice's team reportedly lacked the funds to proceed. Despite this unexpected issue, Gia believed they would ultimately resolve the problem. Unfortunately, the payment deadline came and went without resolution. Additionally, it was reported that Spice's team canceled the wig orders just one day before they were set to be delivered. As a result of this disruption, Gia mentioned that Spice's team offered a service fee, but she did not receive any payment. Gia expressed her frustration after Spice's team placed another order, highlighting their lack of communication. She publicly criticized the situation, stating, "Things happen, but that is not how you handle someone that respects your business AND ALWAYS comes through for you at the very last minute LITERALLY!!!!!! Also, you still owe me my wig back because it’s not paid for what’s going on with that??" Gia then implied that everyone involved was copying Nicki Minaj's style, saying, "Thank you for making us make all of these Nicki Minaj wigs. I’m going to go ahead and not upload the rest of the screenshots since this is supposed to be 'Princess Diana' but it’s really always Queen Onika."
