Nicki Minaj offered to pay college tuition for the 14-year-old boy that shot his mother’s assailant.
Prosecutors dropped charges against Carlishia Hood and her 14-year-old after their shooting went viral. Now, Nicki Minaj extended her support in an IG Story post. Hood and 32-year-old Jeremy Brown had an altercation at Maxwell Street Express in Chicago. Brown repeatedly punched Hood and her son grabbed a gun and fired shots at Brown, killing him. Authorities charged them both with murder, but prosecutors dropped the charges based on emerging evidence.
Hood has filed a lawsuit against the city of Chicago and five police officers.
