Denver Nuggets have swept the Los Angeles Lakers and are going to the N.B.A. finals for the first time in franchise history after their 113-111 win.
Now, Denver will face the winner of the Eastern Conference finals, as the Miami Heat have a 3-0 series lead over the Boston Celtics in Game 4 Tonight!
Game 3 of the N.B.A.’s Eastern Conference ended with Jimmy Butler and the Heat taking over the reeling Boston Celtics!
Miami put on a clinic with their 128-102 victory and now have a 3-0 series lead. They will go for the sweep at home on Tuesday. Jimmy Butler, finished with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists, as Gabe Vincent scored 29 points, and Duncan Robinson finished with 22.
Jimmy Butler scored 35 points, 20 after halftime, when the Miami Heat beat the Boston Celtics 123-116 in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals!
"I’m playing at an incredible level because they are allowing me to do so," Butler said. “They are not putting a limit on my game. They are trusting me with the ball, on the defensive end. I think that’s what any basketball player wants.”
Miami's win was Butler's fifth game with 30 or more points this postseason.
“One of the premier two-way basketball players of this association. ... That’s what we needed.” Coach Erik Spoelstra said. “Down the stretch Jimmy was able to do everything we needed – as a scorer and as a facilitator.”
The No. 8-seeded Heat have opened all three playoff series with a road win.
