Jake Paul and Floyd Mayweather have a long-standing feud, which began when Jake stole Mayweather’s hat a few years ago during the promotion of Logan Paul's exhibition match.
Things escalated recently when Floyd's people approached Jake outside the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami after a basketball game. Jake, who was with just one bodyguard, ran off after the altercation. Floyd's team alleges that Jake had made inappropriate comments about Floyd's deceased family member, leading to the confrontation. Jake responded on Instagram, claiming that he had only taken Floyd's hat and was being unfairly targeted. Despite the bad blood, Jake is still trying to promote himself and is demanding a boxing match with Floyd. However, it is unlikely to happen anytime soon, as both men have other fights to focus on.
