Lil Wayne took the stage on the second night of the Rolling Loud hip-hop festival in Los Angeles. During his headline set on March 4th, he thrilled the crowd with a series of guest appearances, including an unexpected appearance by Nicki Minaj. Fans were ecstatic to see the two reunited for a performance of their 2015 hit "Truffle Butter", but they didn't stop there. They also took it back to the early 2010s and performed "High School" from Nicki's album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded – The Re-Up, the reissue of her sophomore effort Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.
Nicki also gave a performance of her newer hit, "Super Freaky Girl," and reportedly intended to keep going but was forced to end the performance early due to technical difficulties on the DJ's end. She posted footage and backstage photos from the performance on Instagram, calling Lil Wayne "THE GOAT."
In addition to Nicki, Lil Wayne also brought out 2 Chainz for a performance of "Duffle Bag Boy" and Gudda Gudda for the YMCMB hit "Bed Rock" during his set.
