Playboi Carti has been arrested by Georgia police, for allegedly grabbing his girl's throat and choking her.
The argument was allegedly over a paternity test, as she said she feared for her life when Carti pushed her and gripped her neck so hard that she couldn't breathe. The victim says she was 14 weeks pregnant at the time of the attack, which happened on December 20.
"Mr. Carter was falsely accused," Carti's lawyer Brian Steel said. "Pursuant to my communications with the Fulton County District Attorney‘s office, this case will be dismissed without any prosecution or litigation."
The victim says she's been in a relationship with Carti for the past two years, and was living with him since last July. When, the argument turned violent, a witness who was there during the incident was able to break up the fight. After the victim darted to her car Carti allegedly attacked her again by trying to pull her out of the car and covering her mouth when she tried to call the police. There were visible marks on her neck, back and chest, when help did arrive and Carti was arrested and charged with felony aggravated assault.
