Prosecutors have accused Young Thug of executing a drug deal during jury selection for his RICO trial. Surveillance video shows Thug in court when his co-defendant Kahlieff Adams placed a pill in his hand. After, Thug gave the pill to a deputy, his lawyer Keith Adams declared him innocent, saying “His side is the truth... Mr. Williams had nothing to do with what went on in the courtroom.”
The pill was identified as a Percocet, and upon searching Adams, officers found more Percocet, marijuana, tobacco and other contraband.
As of this report, Thug has not been charged, but Adams is facing additional charges including possession of schedule II controlled substance, willful obstruction of law enforcement misdemeanor, possession of marijuana less than one ounce, possession of alcoholic beverage by inmate, and willful obstruction of law enforcement officers misdemeanor.
