In this day and age of the MASSIVE overuse of the trap rhythm in todays Hip-Hop, it's refreshing to see when someone takes the sound and keeps it's raw rebelliousness without checking off all the typical cues that comes with it. AG Club have done just that with their single "Don't Ask, Don't Tell (Feat. redveil, Sam Truth & Glen the Saiyan)" off their album, “Imposter Syndrome.” Taking a 70's soul sound and mixing it with an old southern black feel "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" is a skilled take on a weathered concept.
