Happy Birthday Fetty Wap

It's Fetty Wap's Birthday!

Fetty jumped on the scene, with his debut single, "Trap Queen", in 2014, which became a platinum record. Fetty secured a contract with 300 Entertainment, and in 2015, was included in XXL's 2015 Freshman Class.

Wap's next single, "My Way", became his second top 10 entry on the Billboard Hot 100, followed by "679" which reached the top 10 peaking at number four and became the first male rapper with three songs in the top 20. He would add to that with "Again", making him the first act to chart his first four entries in the top 10 simultaneously.

Fetty's debut album Fetty Wap debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, and would follow with two mixtapes Coke Zoo and ZOO 16: The Mixtape with Zoo Gang. He would end the year with two nominations at the 58th Grammy Awards.

In 2016, Fetty released "Jimmy Choo", and was featured on Fifth Harmony's "All in My Head (Flex)". He followed with "Wake Up" and "Make You Feel Good" and the 19 track mixtape Zoovier. In 2021 he released “The Butterfly Effect” his second studio album, derived from his late daughter, Lauren, who was the inspiration for the album name & songs.
