It's Lizzo's Birthday!
Lizzo, began her recording career by releasing two albums, Lizzobangers in 2013 and Big Grrrl Small World in 2015. That led to Lizzo's first major-label EP, Coconut Oil in 2016.
Lizzo hit the mainstream with her third album, Cuz I Love You in 2019, which went top five on the Billboard 200. The album spawned "Juice" and "Tempo", the deluxe version included "Truth Hurts", which topped the Billboard Hot 100. That led to her 2016 single "Good as Hell" to climb the charts, reaching the top three on the Hot 100. Lizzo would receive eight nominations at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year for the deluxe version of Cuz I Love You, Song of the Year and Record of the Year for "Truth Hurts", as well as Best New Artist.
Time magazine named Lizzo as "Entertainer of the Year" and in addition to her three Grammy's, she has also won a Billboard Music Award, a BET Award, and two Soul Train Music Awards.
