Two more classic Hip Hop albums were added to the National Recording Registry; Wu Tang Clan’s Enter The Wu Tang(36 Chambers) and A Tribe Called Quest’s The Low End Theory.
Its the Wu's 1st entry, but it’s the second album for the Tribe, which joins the 2022 inductee class that includes Bonnie Raitt’s Nick Of Time album, Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’,” and Alicia Keys’ Songs In A Minor.
The Low End Theory is widely regarded as one of the greatest albums of all time, ranked at number 43 on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. 36 Chambers is regarded as one of the most significant albums of the 1990s, and ranked 27th on Rolling Stone's updated list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
