Jack Harlow will be starring in a remake of the classic basketball film White Men Can’t Jump taking on the role of Billy Hoyle, made famous by Woody Harrelson.
The film tells the story of two hustling basketball players who learn to work together for a big game. Filmmakers are still looking for an actor to portray Wesley Snipes’ character Sidney Deane and an actress to play Hoyle’s love interest, whom Rosie Perez portrayed.
Calmatic will direct the new film with Black-ish creator Kenya Barris and Doug Hall writing the script. Blake Griffin will serve as executive producer alongside Ryan Kalil and Noah Weinstein through their label, Mortal Media.
Before he gets busy on the movie front, Harlow dropped “Nail Tech,” during NBA All-Star Weekend.
