Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 called on some of the biggest names in Hip Hop to help get the word out.
The new “Squad Up” ad features stars, athletes, gamers and social media influencers. Lil Baby, declares “Modern Warfare is back again!,” Nicki Minaj, comedian Pete Davidson, Jalen Ramsey and others, call upon their “squads” to prepare for battle.

Nicki Minaj's “Super Freaky Girl” debuted on top of the Billboard Hot 100!
“Super Freaky Girl” is Minaj’s 21st single to reach the Top 10 and the second single this year, following “Do We Have a Problem,” as her topping the charts follows “Break My Soul” by Beyoncé and “About Damn Time” by Lizzo, making for the first time in this century that three solo Black female artists have topped the Hot 100. Minaj is also the first solo rapper to debut at #1 since Lauryn Hill in 1998.
Nicki Minaj brought back Roman Zolanski for the remix to “Super Freaky Girl!”
The remix is an extended version featuring a new brand new third verse from Nicki’s Roman Zolanski. First introduced on Ludacris’ “My Chick Bad” in 2010, and named after movie director Roman Polanski, the character is from London who is even more unfiltered than Nicki.
Roman also appeared on “Roman’s Revenge,” “Roman Holiday” and “Roman Reloaded.” Now, Nicki killed him off after revealing she “got tired of him,” but revived him on her Queen single “Barbie Dreams.”
Nicki Minaj is releasing a six-part documentary series and dropped a surprise trailer!
With the caption “coming soon.” Minaj hit Twitter to tease the series. “Coming SOON!!!! The #NickiDocumentary you didn’t know you needed. Love you so much.”
