Westside Gunn loves wrestling so much he's starting his own pro wrestling business!
On his Instagram, he announced that he has founded a wrestling promotion company called 4THROPE and signed former WWE NXT wrestler Parker Boudreaux.
"Y’all Done Fucked Up!!!! Meet @theparkerboudreaux the 1st official wrestler W/ 4THROPE,"wrote Gunn in his post. "We’re about to do something the Wrestling world has NEVER scene. EVERYBODY knows I’m the biggest wrestling fan in the world but now I’m about to mix Cultures and present special talent, merch, 4THROPE radio, 4THROPE TV, and again HIGH LEVEL ART stay tuned for more 4THROPE announcements and LINK IN MY BIO we just World Premiered on AEW tonight start it at the 28min. 4THROPE will be focusing on wrestling merch and teamed up with Brian XL and House of Glory,
"Just long as we the best at what we do, the sky’s the limit, man. You never know what the fuck this can be. This shit could be the biggest shit in the world. I just know it’s about to be crazy."
Their love for wrestling is referenced numerous with wrestlers in their rhymes and sampled classic interviews from professional wrestlers and announcers. Griselda, however never got permission to use some of those samples, so they got a notice from YouTube regarding the removal of several of Westside Gunn’s music videos. The takedown notice was issued by the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).
“Retroactive copyright claims why?? @WWE,” Griselda wrote in their Instagram Story post.
The rift between WWE and Griselda comes interestingly after Westside Gunn's appearance on the company’s NXT TV show just last month. WWE posted a photo of Gunn with newcomer Harland on Twitter, however the tweet has since been deleted and the video interview was made private.
Hmm future Wrestlemania appearance?
