Young Dolph's Suspected Killers In Custody

The men suspected of killing Young Dolph are in police custody.

Justin Johnson was apprehended by U.S. Marshals in Indiana. Johnson announced plans to turn himself in, but instead released a music video maintaining his innocence via social media,

"I’m Innocent I’ll Be Back Sooner Than You Can Blink." he wrote.

Johnson faces charges of first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder and theft of property between $10,000 and $60,000.

Cornelius Smith, was also booked on a first-degree murder charge.

Young Dolph was honored with a street in Memphis.

The Memphis City Council named a street in Dolph’s honor and memory, that was revealed during a street naming ceremony. A section of street in Dolph’s neighborhood of Castalia Heights is now known as “Adolph Robert ‘Young Dolph’ Thornton, Jr. Avenue.”

The date of Dolph’s passing, Nov. 17, will be recognized as a Day of Service in the city, reflecting Dolph’s dedication to his community,

“It’s about celebrating our own. Young Dolph was truly one of us.” Councilman JB Smiley, Jr.

Today, Dolph’s loved ones will host a “Celebration of Life,” honoring Young Dolph. The service will include performances, words from his family, his Paper Route Empire team, and reminisces from philanthropy recipients Dolph gave to throughout the years.

Young Dolph was shot and killed in Memphis as he was shopping at a local bakery called Makeda's Cookies.

Dozens of fans standing outside of the crime scene as a way to pay their respects, as Dolph repped his city and looking to do big things with his Paper Route Empire label. More details emerging, but sources are say Dolph was purchasing cookies for his mother, when shooters pulled up to the store in a car and began to shoot through the window.

Westside Gunn, Offset, Gucci Mane, Quavo, and Hit-Boy took to Twitter to react to Dolph's death, and give their condolences to his loved ones.

"Damn R.I.P DOLPH PRAYER FOR YA KIDS AND FAMILY SMH," Offsett wrote.

"R. I.P. to my friend Dolph this broke my heart," Gucci Mane added.
