DaniLeigh is back, with a fresh new single, “Dead To Me!”
Out on Def Jam and available everywhere, “Dead To Me” is DaniLeigh’s first new music since Movie in 2020.
The song, calls DaBaby “triflin’” and that their "toxic" relationship is over. This is in reference to the incident where DaBaby kicked her out of his house and called the police.
Danileigh sat down with iHeart Radio’s Angie Martinez to address the past two years, her relationships, parenting, and what’s next.
DaniLeigh faced assault charges after her dispute with DaBaby that played out on IG.
The two got into a heated argument in front of their three-month-old daughter, which resulted in DaBaby calling the cops after demanding she leave his home.
Everything was broadcast on social media, over multiple Instagram posts and videos. Police responded to two separate calls and both times Dababy accused DaniLeigh of assaulting him.
Two simple assault charges were filed against DaniLeigh, whose real name is Danielle Curiel.
“As a result of the investigation, Curiel was served with a Criminal Summons for Simple Assault,” a statement read. “Officers also obtained additional information that led them to charge Curiel with a second count of Simple Assault from the incident on Nov. 14.”
DaniLeigh has since moved out of DaBaby’s home and taken their three-month-old daughter with her.
