U.S. Customs and Border Protection intercepted shipments of fake championship rings that have been making their way through Cincinnati.
1,382 rings have been confiscated and, most of them were related to the Milwaukee Bucks. It is believed that the merchandise would have been sold for a grand total of $1 million dollars!
Although, the other rings may be possible to exactly copy, the Bucks rings may present a problem. The Bucks went high-tech with theirs, as a scan of a QR code engraved in the ring, allows players a highlight reel of their championship season, and an extra, diamond encrusted loop allows players to wear the ring as a pendant.
Jason of Beverly Hills, is the jeweler who made Milwaukee's championship rings.
