Happy Birthday Fat Joe!

Born in the Mecca of hip-hop that is the Bronx, New York, he began his music career as a member of D.I.T.C..

He would go out on his own and set up his own label, Terror Squad, and signed Big Pun, Remy Ma, Tony Sunshine, Cuban Link, Armageddon, Prospect, Triple Seis, and DJ Khaled.

Fat Joe's debut album, "Represent", came out in 1993 and spawned the single "Flow Joe", which reached number one on the Billboard Hot Rap Songs chart. He would release the successful "Jealous Ones Still Envy" in 2001, and was certified platinum.

His biggest hit "Lean Back" with Terror Squad came in 2004, and "What's Luv?" featuring Ashanti and Ja Rule in 2002. He'd finish up the 200's with "Make It Rain" featuring Lil Wayne, and "All the Way Up" with Remy Ma featuring French Montana and Dre would bring him back into the spotlight in 2016.

In 2018 he began hosting a podcast on Tidal, Coca Vision, where he discusses music, friendships, and pop culture with guests, as his album Family Ties was released in 2019

Recently, he hooked up with DJ Khaled on "Sunshine (The Light) featuring Amorphous, with a video shot right here in South Beach.

In 2021 Fat Joe is celebrating more than just his birthday, REPRESENT!
