There is speculation that Nicki Minaj is publicly distancing herself from, Kenneth Petty, after she made change to her Twitter account. When she and Petty tied the knot, she changed her Twitter name to Mrs. Petty, but now her social media name back to her stage name.

Nicki has not publicly commented on the change, Petty's recent legal troubles may be paving the way to a separation. Petty reached a plea deal in California after he failed to register as a sex offender, after being charged with attempted rape in 1995.

Others, however, speculate this change has to do with new music on the way.

BIA's hit with Nicki Minaj, "Whole Lotta Money (Remix)" cracked the top 20 on Billboard.

"My Biggest flex is I don’t have to," she wrote on Instagram, Monday. "#WHOLELOTTAMONEYREMIX. THANK U FOR STREAMING."

Minaj announced that she'd be appearing on the remix during an Instagram Live, and surprised fans by inviting BIA into the stream.

"I open the DMs and I see that the girl had been DMing me for three years!" She said, "It wasn't just about a dope chorus and a beat. I don’t feel that a lot. I used to feel that and that used to be my inspiration for wanting to rap."

The original track blew up on TikTok, and amassed over 275,000 streams.
