Bobby Brown and Keith Sweat will be facing off in the next VERZUZ!
The battle will take place on Thursday July 1 (AKA Bobby Bonilla Day) as part of the virtual Essence Festival of Culture.

Bobby Brown can pull from his extensive solo career as well as his New Edition days, and Keith Sweat will pull from his New Jack History as well.
Lil’ Kim made a challenge for the Verzuz arena and she has Nicki Minaj in mind.
When Kim was asked if she would ever do a Verzuz battle and who she would like to battle against,
“Nicki.” She said, “I would love to see that.”

The beef between the two goes back a decade, but Verzuz has a history of bringing people together. Hip hop fans are treated to an evening of entertainment and nostalgia.
Unfortunately, one Verzuz that won’t be happening is Mary J. Blige and Toni Braxton. The official Verzuz Twitter had to dispel the rumors after fans began circulating a fake flyer that advertised an upcoming battle.
“Us having to tell people that the Mary J. Blige vs Toni Braxton VERZUZ isn’t real,” they wrote.
The series is sure to host some exciting face-offs in the near future, whether one will be between Nicki Minaj and Lil’ Kim, only time will tell.
