Happy Birthday Kendrick Lamar!

At 37 years of age Kendrick crossed a milestone! His album good kid, m.A.A.d city has spent over 8 years on the Billboard 200 chart.

good kid, m.A.A.d city is the longest charting Hip Hop album in Billboard history. Released through Top Dawg Entertainment and distributed by Interscope Records and Aftermath Entertainment, good kid, m.A.A.d city was produced by Dr. Dre, Just Blaze, Pharrell Williams and Hit-Boy.

Singles included “The Recipe,” “Swimming Pools (Drank),” “Backseat Freestyle,” “Poetic Justice” and “Bitch, Don’t Kill My Vibe.”

The album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and earned Kendrick four Grammy Award nominations, including Album of the Year.

Breaking records is nothing new for Kendrick Lamar, he’s used to making history.
