Dolphins Go For Impact Players In The 1st Round Of The NFL Draft

The Miami Dolphins have made their two picks in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

The team added Alabama wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, then used the 18th pick to select Miami DE Jaelan Phillips from THE U!

The Dolphins reunite Waddle with Tua Tagovailoa giving him a much needed top-end weapon.

With the 18th selection, they used it to pick Phillips, a long, lean pass rusher with pursuit speed to chase down agile quarterbacks, and hitting power to make an impact.

Not bad for a first round.
