Playboi Carti has his first No. 1 album!
Whole Lotta Red topped the chart with album sales that were mostly driven by streaming, Carti holds the title of being the first artist to have a No. 1 album in 2021.
Carti’s 2018 platinum-selling "Die Lit" landed at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart and before then he reached No. 12 on the chart with his self-titled debut mixtape.
After two weeks at No. 1 Taylor Swift’s Evermore falls to No. 2, Lil Durk’s The Voice surges from No. 46 to No. 3, Pop Smoke’s Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon climbs 11 to 4, and Ariana Grande’s Positions rounds out the top 5.
