Too $hort and E-40 are next to battle on IG Verzuz!
The two Bay Area legends will battle it out on Dec. 19. The “Legends of the Bay” competition takes place at 5 p.m. on Instagram and Apple Music.
“Y’all know we had to do a BIG holiday party!” read the announcement on the Verzuz Instagram account. “Who you wit!?”
It may be hard to pick sides, since they are two of the greatest Bay Area rappers of all time but the eras of rap they both represent may be a deciding factor in the bout.
The two plan to release a bundle album on Dec. 18, bringing together tracks from each of their new solo albums.
Too $hort’s part of the bundle is “Ain’t Gone Do It,” which features appearances from G-Eazy, Guapdad 4000, Mistah F.A.B., Rayven Justice, Bosslife Big Spence, Tiny MD, Reg Black and E-40 himself.
The other side has E-40's “Terms and Conditions,” with contributions from Freddie Gibbs, G-Eazy, Brent Faiyaz, Gashi, Drakeo the Ruler, Larry June, Symba, Capolow, Pimpin Ken, Trae Suave, Blxst, Turf Talk, Stresmatic and Too $hort.
