Megan Thee Stallion is stepping into the pop and dance world, as she collaborates with Maroon 5 and Idris Elba.
Meg joined forces with pop-rockers Maroon 5 for “Beautiful Mistakes,” which follows up “Nobody’s Love” from last year.
“I’m absolutely obsessed with the song. We love how it came out,” Maroon 5’s Adam Levine he said. “The way she built her part was just, it couldn't have been a more epic kind of climax for the song. I mean, it really is absolutely perfect. So, I mean, what she did was just miraculous, and it brought the song to a whole new level."
The new single comes on the same day Megan starred in Calvin Klein’s Spring 2021 campaign. Meg has been on a hot streak, she dropped her debut album Good News, celebrated her 26th birthday, and dropped “Southside Forever Freestyle,” which featured Juicy J.
Elba revealed his upcoming song with Meg .
“I’m trying to stay with it when we’re not gigging now,” Elba said. “So I’ve got some really cool music coming, been working with Franky Wah on a tune I’m looking forward to dropping. I’ve got a bit of a banger, I don’t want to say too much but me, Megan Thee Stallion and Davido that’s coming. Shout out to the fanatics.”
Meg and DaBaby released "Cry Baby" earlier in the month and people have been raving about the video on social media.
Good News debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200, and followed both of her Top 10 finishes of her EP, Suga (which hit No. 7) and her mixtape, Fever (which came in at No. 10). Good News featured Beyoncé, Big Sean, 2 Chainz, Lil Durk, City Girls, SZA, and Mustard.
