Hip Hop and wrestling are colliding!
Rolling Loud is partnering with WWE to bring SmackDown wrestling to the festival on July 23. SmackDown will feature a split FOX broadcast with two matches being held at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami while the rest are going down at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland.
“What Matt Zingler, Tariq Cherif and the entire Rolling Loud team have built is spectacular,” said WWE senior vice president Scott Zanghellini, “We couldn’t think of a better partner to deliver such a unique WWE experience to fans during the July 23 edition of Friday Night SmackDown on FOX.”
Friday night’s performers include A$AP Rocky, 21 Savage, Playboi Carti, and Lil Baby.
“I grew up on Sweet Chin Music, mesmerized by the spectacle that Vince McMahon and co have built at WWE,” Rolling Loud co-founder Tariq Cherif added. “The idea of weaving our two storylines into one world, one must see event, is electrifying.”
Rolling Loud Miami is set to take place on the weekend of July 23-25 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
The Headliners for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday include A$AP Rocky, Travis Scott, and Post Malone, Lil Baby, 21 Savage, DaBaby, Rick Ross, Young Thug, Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti, Curren$y, Ski Mask The Slump God, Kodak Black, Gunna, Swae Lee, Lil Durk, Nav, Polo G, Chief Keef, Coi Leray, Wale, Rod Wave, Gucci Mane, Jack Harlow, Lil Tjay, Tyga, Dave East, Mulatto, Young Nudy, Pooh Shiesty, Benny The Butcher, Moneybagg Yo, Morray, and special guest Bobby Shmurda.
Rolling Loud will be honoring all the tickets from last year's delayed 2020 event, and providing complete refunds to those unable to attend.
“We can’t wait to reunite together in the pits we’ve all grown to love (and miss) so much,” the festival said in a statement. “Although we may need to wait a little bit longer—trust that this comeback and reunion will be even stronger.”
