Cardi B holds the record of being the female rapper with the most number-one singles in history.
Cardi took to Instagram to celebrate.
"I want God to come see me in my dreams when I take my nap today so I can kiss his feet and tell him how much I love him!!!" writes Cardi. "Yoooooo shit is amazing yoooooo. I got no words. Actually I got a lot of words but I can’t type it all."
With an upcoming album in the works, don't be surprised to see Cardi extend that lead.
"Up" had also gone platinum only a month after its release. Cardi dropped “Up,” after her hit single “WAP” featuring Megan Thee Stallion. In a YouTube livestream Cardi said she wanted the track to be more “hood”
“I wanted to do something more gangsta, more cocky.”
Cardi was alongside Wayne’s World actors Mike Meyers and Dana Carvey in a Super Bowl ad for Uber Eats.
"WAP" set the record for the biggest streaming debut week of all time and claimed the No. 1 Billboard spot.
